Pro-wrestling and luche libre has lost one of it's all time greats, Villano III passed away today at 66 years old.
Villano III (Arturo Diaz Mendoza) was a second generation pro-wrestler, son of lucha legend Ray Mendoza. Arturo was considered the best of the Mendoza family, next to Ray, winning all over Mexico collecting individual and tag team gold for AAA, CMLL & UWA. He was a top draw for the UWA promotion from the mid-70s to the mid-80s wining several of the company's championship and gaining his legendary, luchador reputation. He retired from in-ring competition in 2015 due to multiple knee injuries and failing eye sight.
