Jericho/Omega clash at NJPW's WrestleKingdom 12

Kenny Omega retained his IWGP United States Championship after defeating Trent Beretta at NJPW's Power Struggle. However, his celebration was cut short as Chris Jericho made a shocking pre-recorded appearance calling out Kenny Omega, proclaiming himself 'the Best in the World', and challenging the IWGP champion to a match at Wrestle Kingdom 12. A challenge Omega quickly accepted. Wrestling Kingdom is New Japan's largest show of the year and will take place from the Tokyo Dome in January 2018.
