Ellsworth released, Bludgeon Brothers set to debut

WWE announced, today, the release of James Ellsworth. The official statement from WWE: "WWE has come to terms on the release of WWE Superstar James Ellsworth. WWE wishes Ellsworth the best in all of his future endeavors." Ellsworth's optimism and 'Any man with two hands, has a fighting chance' mantra skyrocketed him in popularity after squaring off against Braun Strowman in a brief albeit memorable match on RAW. Ellsworth would get a one-on-one title shot against AJ Styles before eventually becoming an integral part in the rise of Mrs. Money in the Bank Carmella. Ellsworth joins several others who have been released this month from their WWE contracts. On the other hand, Luke Harper and Erik Rowan are set to return to in-ring action on Smackdown LIVE this week. The two have been teased in several dark video segments over the past few weeks and it appears they have gone through a small repackaging. They will participate in
a tag team match against Mojo Rawley and Zach Ryder, the Hype Bros.
