Tanahashi injures knee, out of World Tag League Tour

New Japan announced today that Hiroshi Tanahashi will miss the remainder of the World Tag League tour due to a knee injury, after competing the night before. It is unclear if the injury sustained happened during his tag team match with Katsuya Kitamura against Tomohiro Ishii & Toru Yanu but seems more to be one of a few nagging injuries the 40 year old IWGP Intercontinental Champion has endured over the past few years. Tanahashi is scheduled to face Jay White at the upcoming Wrestle Kingdom 12 PPV and it is believed he will be ready to go by then.
