Dalton Castle wins ROH World Championship

Dalton Castle is the new Ring of Honor World Champion. He pinned the American Nightmare Cody Rhodes for the title at last night's Final Battle PPV from the Hammerstein Ballroom in New York City. Castle has been out with a back injury since August but was thrust right back into the title scene upon his return and subsequent attack on Cody Rhodes at Global Wars in Chicago. The lead up to this match also saw him enacting revenge on the Bullet Club members who participated in the attack. This victory over Rhodes also impacts the upcoming Wrestle Kingdom 12 card changing his match with Kota Ibushi to a non-title match.
