Cena, The Revival return. Ambrose out.
It was announced on Monday that John Cena will make his return to the ring on Christmas night as RAW broadcasts live from Chicago. This will be his first appearance since November which saw him on the losing end of the Survivor Series elimination match with Team Smackdown. RAW also saw the return of The Revival, with Scott Dawson being officially cleared for action after a 4 month hiatus to recover from a bicep injury that had to be surgically repaired. They won their returning match against Rhyno and Heath Slater. In an unfortunate turn of events for Dean Ambrose an MRI show that he may need surgery to repair a 'high-grade tricep tendon injury' according to WWE doctor Chris Amann. Ambrose will be evaluated at the Sports and Medicine and Orthopedic Center in Alabama where they will confirm if surgery is required and how long he may be out. Update: The latest update on Dean Ambrose is saying that he, in fact, does have have a partially torn tricep tendon that will require surgery. The current time-table for his return is between 6 - 9 months. We wish him well in his recovery.
