Mysterio/Liger set for March

Former WWE and World Champion, Rey Mysterio, appeared in a pre-taped promo during the finale of New Japan's Road to New Beginnings show in Osaka. Mysterio announced that he would make his NJPW debut at the Strong Style Evolved event in California on March 25th. A challenge was laid down to Jushin Thunder Liger to face him, a challenge that was immediately accepted. The match will be available on NJPW's on-line network and AXS-TV. Mysterio recently made headlines after making a surprise appearance in the Royal Rumble and, though it was only a one-night deal, that he was open to working with them more in the future. This will be Mysterio and Liger's first match together since 1996 when they faced off at WCW's Starcade.
