UPDATE: Rey Mysterio possibly injured at tonight's NEW WrestleFest (update)

March 2, 2018

Rey Mysterio was seen heavily favoring his left arm and shoulder after his tag team match, tonight, at Northeast Wrestling's WrestleFest XXII event. During a match which saw Mysterio teaming up with Joey Mercury against Ring of Honor's Flip Gordon and Impact's Caleb Konley. He seemed to communicate his an issue to Joey Mercury before immediately setting up the finish.

UPDATE-March 9: Good news for Mysterio. He suffered only a Grade 1 partially torn left bicep in last week's match. No official timetable is set for his return to action but it's expected to be much less than originally expected and he odds of his previously announced match with Liger and rumored WWE run actually happening have increased significantly.
