Pentagon Jr. pins Aries, becomes new Impact World Champion

Pentagon Jr. was victorious at tonight's Impact Redepmtion PPV pinning Austin Aries in a triple threat match that also included his brother, Rey Fenix. This match was set during the WrestleCon weekend after Fenix and Pentagon, who were late additions to the Lucha Underground/Impact Wrestling dual- promotion card, had their match scheduled tag team match changed to a triple threat accounting for an absent Alberto Del Rio. After their match Aries challenged the two to a rematch at Redemption, this time with the championship on the line.

Pentagon picked up the win after hitting Aries with the Pentagon driver, ending Aries 100+ day reign as Impact Wrestling World Champion.
