And NEW WWE Champion...

Daniel Bryan defeated AJ Styles in the main event of Smackdown to become the new WWE Champion. In what seems to be a turn from previous iterations, Bryan took advantage of an incapacitated referee and administered a nasty low blow to Styles giving him the advantage to dethrone the champ and cast himself into the main-event of Survivor Series. Bryan was originally to be a part of Team Smackdown - he will be replaced by Jeff Hardy.
